TAMARIND FISH


Ingredients: - Fish (bommidalu) – 1/2kg, tamarind – 200gms, green chillis – 6, onions – 2, curry leaves – little, oil – 4 spoons, cumin seeds – 1 spoon, ginger – small piece, garlic – 5, chilly powder – 2 spoons, turmeric – ¼ spoon, coriander powder – 1 spoon, salt – for taste.


Method: - Grind the onions in to paste. Also grind, garlic, cumin seeds in to paste, boil the tamarind and squeeze juice from it. Take oil in a wide dish. Add onion paste and fry. Also add chilly powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt, fish pieces and boil it for two minutes. Add garlic, cumin seeds paste in the gravy and fry them. Tamarind fish is ready to serve.
